About us

The Australia-Indonesia Football Council (AIFC) Incorporated is a community-driven organization dedicated to fostering strong relationships between Australia and Indonesia through football. We believe that football is more than just a game—it is a bridge that connects cultures, strengthens communities, and inspires individuals to reach their full potential.

Our Mission

AIFC is committed to delivering short, medium, and long-term community-building, social health, and welfare benefits by:

  • Providing young people, particularly Indonesians in Sydney, with role models for participation in exercise and organized team sports.
  • Encouraging and growing football participation within Indonesian and surrounding communities.
  • Offering a comfortable and inclusive environment for Indonesian and wider communities to enjoy football and pursue their sporting potential.
  • Creating pathways for future coaches, technical staff, and administrators to develop their expertise and gain experience in football, supporting career opportunities in both sport and community leadership.
  • Providing volunteering opportunities for community members to engage with their teams and the broader Indonesian football community in Sydney.
  • Fostering a strong sense of community spirit and pride through shared support of local teams and competitions.

INDOLEAGUE – Our Premier Project

AIFC’s flagship event, INDOLEAGUE, is an annual football competition that unites Indonesian-Australian football teams in Sydney. More than just a competition, INDOLEAGUE serves as a professional platform for amateur players to showcase their skills, develop teamwork, and engage in a well-structured league.

Through INDOLEAGUE, AIFC promotes inclusivity, talent development, and a sense of belonging within the Indonesian and wider football communities. The event not only provides an opportunity for competitive play but also strengthens bonds between players, supporters, and community leaders.

Our Commitment

Beyond INDOLEAGUE, AIFC actively supports football development programs, training sessions, and networking opportunities for players, coaches, and football enthusiasts. Our initiatives aim to nurture the next generation of footballers and create sustainable pathways for community engagement through sport.

Join us in building a stronger, more connected football community—because football is more than a game, it’s a connection!
